Meet the Founders
Anahita & Sohair met through their yoga teacher training programs and became fast friends. They soon realized that they shared a dream of opening a yoga and wellness studio. Lūneh was born out of that shared dream.

I moved to the U.S. in 2019, and the beginning was deeply lonely, especially when the pandemic hit. In the midst of a new country, a new life, and a world in crisis, yoga became my anchor. Stepping into a studio was often the only time I could truly connect with myself, quiet my anxieties, and feel grounded again.
Through yoga, I slowly found my community. I met people who became friends, support systems, and chosen family. The shared experience of moving and breathing together created connection when everything else felt uncertain.
I completed my yoga teacher training in 2022, not with the intention of teaching, but to deepen my understanding of the practice I love. What draws me to yoga isn’t instruction—it’s the shared experience of moving, breathing, and being together in the same space.
That experience is what planted the seed for opening this studio. I wanted to give back what yoga gave me, to create a space where others could feel held, welcomed, and less alone. A place where connection comes naturally, and where everyone can arrive exactly as they are.
This studio is more than a place to practice yoga. It’s a space for community, warmth, and belonging—built from the belief that moving together can help us heal, connect, and find home, even in unfamiliar places.

Yoga and meditation found me during one of the toughest chapters of my life. They became my lifeline, guiding me through challenges and helping me find strength and clarity in moments of darkness. It was this profound transformation that inspired me to create Lūneh – a place where others could discover the same healing and empowerment that I found on the mat.
My dedication to spreading mindfulness and holistic wellness led me to dive deep into various trainings and certifications. I've completed yoga and meditation teacher trainings, including special certification in yin yoga, become a certified Reiki master practitioner, and honed my skills through Georgetown's executive coaching program.
But beyond the certifications, my journey is rooted in a deep commitment to serving others. I've seen firsthand the power of yoga, meditation, and holistic practices to ignite positive change in people's lives. At Lūneh, my mission is to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and healing.
I'm incredibly grateful to be on this path, and I'm honored to share the transformative power of yoga and mindfulness with our Lūneh community. Together, let's journey inward, find our strength, and create a life filled with balance, joy, and purpose.
